Tawny Owl (1 heard calling from Central Marsh Path @ 11am),Hobby (1 hunting Dragonfly at West Marsh Hide - 2 hunting over the Tip area), Yellow Wagtail (2 flew over East Marsh Pool during strimming @ 1pm), Green Sandpiper(2 on West Marsh), Snipe (1), Willow Tit (2), Barnacle Goose (1), Wigeon (2), Cettis Warbler(4), Goldcrest (2)
Still lots of Chiffchaff's in the Long-tailed Tit flocks, including 3 singing, also seen various Nos' of Blackcap, Reed Warbler, Common Whitethroat and good passage of Swallow & House Martin!
Lots of Dragonfly today best was Migrant & Southern Hawker.
Butterflies included various Nos of: Comma, Red Admiral, Brown Argus, Small White, Meadow Brown, Small Copper, Red Admiral, Green-vein White & Small T'Shell, Speckled Wood & Small Heath.
**All Islands and banks are now cut plus the 'Bittern Ride' has been cut in front of 'Big Hide' Happy Birding!!

|Birds of note- Black-tailed Godwit tried to land on East Marsh around 17.40 but was seen off by a Lapwing. Common and Green Sandpiper on Willow Island along with 2 Snipe. 2 juv Sparrowhawks seen together over Newlands. Good numbers of Swallows, House and Sand Martins. Water Rail seen in front of East Marsh Hide. Local News-14 Yellow Wagtails seen at Bubbenhall Bridge Riding Stables in field of cows left of driveway.|
