Sat Afternoon - Impressive Murmuration over Newlands, started with 90 or so birds going to roost, followed by 400 or so and then the large murmuration started to build, probably totally well over 1500 birds. After they roosted several smaller but still impressive murmurations flew around briefly before roosting. Easily 3000+ birds were chatting away noisily in the reeds as night fell.
