Just as the driving rain eased, a whooper swan landed on East Marsh Pool @ 10am, lasted about five minutes before being chased off by two mute swans. Also 15 snipe, two female goldeneye, 12 redpoll, a tree-full of siskin, a treecreeper, and a nuthatch on visitor centre feeder.

Adult Whooper Swan with 4 Juvenile over the reserve for around 30 minutes @ 7.40am.
Plus - Chiffchaff at Carlton Hide (not Siberian!!!) 3 Goldeneye 1M+2F still on East Marsh Pool, Greenshank (1 still on River Pool)
