Beautiful on the marsh this morning. Logged 45 species. A hunting sparrowhawk flew out of the sun, took a feeding snipe, then dropped it in East Marsh Pool when mobbed by crows.The hawk disappeared - hungry - while the crows leisurely, fished out and ate their lunch.
