|Will never match Keith Yates' sightings unless I convert blackbird into Peregrine and Magpie into Marsh Harrier! However, a highlight today was to come face to face with a stationary Goldcrest. I was watching a Robin which was about to mob me for food when this chap appeared. We were about three feet apart. Magic! Where was the camera. In my bag of course! Got the Little Egret but missed the Great White. Oh well, I had a good day. A flock of 60 or so probably Redpoll and Siskin along the path to the Wright hide but was hampered by misted up eye pieces and snow flakes on lense so really could't be sure.|
