1 - Bittern flew from Newlands reedbed over East Marsh towards West Marsh. (12:19)

Ha! Told you Jeff the Brambling would return. I know you thought it was my imagination!!

Seems like i missed all the good stuff again, so thought i'd better sit and wait for the brambling at least...

Brambling (male) feeding station outside cafe windows, also Coal Tit, Nuthatch, GS Woodpecker (1m 1f), Reed Bunting (3)

Willot Tit on West Marsh.

Redwing, Siskin near visitor Centre, at least 5 bullfinch in guilder rose.

Peregrine @ 9.30am - Put the whole of East Marsh Pool up before taking Lapwing high up in flight! Quite spectacular!!

Bittern seen in flight on West Marsh @ 9am by Bob Lee and myself. Bob did actually see it twice, once before I arrived!!
Plus of Note :- Circa 100 Redpoll feeding on East Marsh Path, Goldeneye (5 - 2M~3F), Pochard (7), Snipe (7), Wigeon (3), Water Rail (2), Treecreeper (3), Nuthatch (1), Fieldfare (4), Redwing (11)
