Update to my sightings yesterday- Great Crested Grebe tried to land on East Marsh before flying off over Newlands. Also there was two other observers with me when the Bitterns flew passed.

Birds of note- 2 Bittern flew across in front of East Marsh hide from West Marsh direction 16.45 dropping down other side of hedge over Newlands. East Marsh Hide- 3 Shelduck, 10 Snipe, 38 Common Gull,3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 2 Herring Gull, 1 Great Black-backed Gull, Kestral, Buzzard, Goldcrest. Most of the birds including the Shelduck and Gulls dissappeared around two thirty when two vistors stood by the Sand Martin nest boxes taking photos.

Of Note Today: Peregrine (1 over East Marsh pool hunting at 8am and again at 3pm), Golden Plover (Circa90 over @ 10am), Shelduck (3), Barnacle Goose (1), Snipe (11), Goldeneye (2? + 1? includes 1 Juv ?), Wigeon (22), Kingfisher (1), Raven (1 over @ 3:15pm)
