Hi all, was on reserve from about 11am to 3 yesterday (Tuesday). Pools are now unfrozen. Came across 100+ Greylags with one White Fronted (confrimed by other birders there) on golf course behind swallow pool. A bit later on they got spooked and moved onto East Marsh pool where they stayed until mid-afternoon. Other birds of note:
- plenty of activity on bird feeders in lower car park by concrete plant with nuthatch, coal tits, GS woodpecker, greenfinch, reed bunting amongst others
- large flock of siskins around reserve centre
- groups 4-5 bullfinches feeding on berries around reserve centre and New Hare Covert
- Gadwall, Shoveller, Goldeneye, Tufted, Shelduck, Little Grebe, Kingfisher, Pochard, Snipe, Lapwing, Common Gull on East Marsh Pool
- 20+ wigeon on Teal Pool.

Good day out with lots of friendly people around.
