The close views of the Bittern from the East Marsh Hide were fabulous and not to be missed.

Bittern - Showing exceptionally well today several times from 12.20pm in front of EMH before eventually flying back across to Newlands around 2.45pm.

1 pink footed goose and 1 white fronted goose with greylag geese on east marsh pool. Buzzard flew over carlton hide.Couple of jays at various spots.There were a couple of common gulls amongst the black headed gulls on emp.
