|Spent two hours at Bradon Marsh this afternoon - also saw the bittern fly in front of East Marsh Hide towards Newlands - best view I have ever had of this species.
Also saw, Goldeneye, Chaffinch, Robin, Great Tit, Blackbird, Coot, Mallard, Tufted Duck, Shoveler, Mute Swan, Shelduck, Cormorant, Lapwing, Black Headed Gull, Grey Heron, Great Crested Grebe, Teal, Pheasant, Magpie, Canada Goose, Buzzard, Greylag Goose, Moorhen, Oystercatcher, Pied Wagtail, Snipe, Coal Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Hybrid Canada Goose, plus usual high numbers of rabbits

|Popped in for a couple of hours this afternoon!
Goldeneye (4) 2M + 2F - both pairs were diplaying very close to the main hide.
Bittern flew from reeds in front of the main hide across to Newlands @ 15.15 much to the delight of other visitors.

Water Rail (5) Heard at various spots.
Cetti's Warbler (4) Heard at various spots.
At around 12.30 a Peregrine was seen flying over the reserve by 4 other birders. I watched it myself for a good 5 mins but it was much too high for any good views.

Bittern 12.34pm over EM Pool flew into Reed Bed, LHS EM Hide
Two(escaped)Hybrid ducks resembling Ruddy Shelduck, but darker.
Suggestion X with Cape or Paradise Shelduck ? On EM Pool this morning.

Ringed Plover (2) (Flew onto EMP @ around 15.45)
Cape Shelduck** - female and hybrid Cape/Australian flew onto EMP mid-morning. After much deliberation this is the best guess but I'm sure there's more to come on these two!!)
