Grasshopper Warbler (1 at 'Olive Bench'), Reed Warbler (At least at 3 at Alban's Reedbed) (formerly Newlands), Sedge Warbler (3), Whitethroat (2 on conservation areas), Cuckoo (1), Common Sandpiper (2 on EMP), Little-ringed Plover (2), Oystercatcher (4), Redshank (4), Snipe (1)

|Highlights - 2 Ringed Plovers (Willow Island), 4 Redshank, 2 Shelduck, 2 Oystercatcher, Kestrel, Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard, Cuckoo (possibly the same individual as last year as the one heard tonight had the same croaky call as last years bird), several Blackcap, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff, Sedge Warblers singing from Reedbed by Carlton hide and river. Tawny Owl's calling from two areas as we walked of the reserve at 20.30|

|Marsh Harrier, ♂ from Ted Jury Hide, circled the reed bed several times from 7:45 to 7:50pm and probably roosted, I took my eyes off it for a moment to look at a Cuckoo perched in the top of the broken dead tree and then it was gone when I looked back. Also here two Kestrels and a Buzzard.
One Green Sandpiper from Teal Pool hide at 8:20pm, just distinguishable in the dusk light.
Tawny Owl calling.
Lots of Sand Martins from East Marsh Hide and three Swallows on wires by the car park.

|Evening visit - Osprey fishing and eating from Ted Jury Hide from 6.45 onwards (Pics and Vids here http://tinyurl.com/l944dwr ). Possible pair (10%) but other bird was only seen for a few seconds. Kestrel also seen flying in and out of bin in far tree. 2 x Water Rails. Sparrow Hawk seen in Oak tree next to path between Baldwin Hide and EM Hide. Little Egret from Teal Hide.|
