4 M Blackcaps, only saw 1 F Blackcap, 4 willlow warbler, 1 wood warbler (I think), 2 grass snakes in seperate locations, 2 Buzzards, GS Woodpecker, 2 Jays, 2 Tree Creeper, a fair few chiff chaff, also observed a Squirrel entering quite a large nest (it wasn't a drey) maybe looking for eggs?

Wheatear still around at 8pm. Spotted Crake showing well down usual channel. Plenty of bats around this evening as well.

Cuckoo heard calling in the distance when walking between East Marsh Hide and Carlton Hide. Spotted Crake still from East Marsh. 5 swallows on wires in carpark.

Both Reed and Sedge Warblers heard yesterday. Very early for reed Warblers - last years' first report was on the 22nd April.
