|7:30 - 9:30 - NIGHTINGALE to left of Carlton Hide showing and singing intermittently. Also in same bush, Cettis Warbler, Blackcaps, Bullfinches and Garden Warbler. Lesser Whitethroat outside Wright Hide. Hobby also seen by others today from Carlton Hide.
The paths to East Marsh Hide are under water - Wellies are an essential.

|30/4/12 Morning visit from 8.40 until 11.50 and much of the reserve was flooded.
Oystercatcher 2,Little Ringed Plover 2, Snipe 1, Redshank 1, Common Sandpiper 2, Common Tern 11 (nine of which just passed through) and Swift 1.

Very flooded, not many hides available, take care deep water.
Good selection of Whitethroats, Blackcaps, Little Ringed Plovers (4). Common Sandpiper EMP.
Saw two Swifts near golf course and Hobby flew over wind pump.
Fledged robin in car park.
