|5:35 to 7:15 am 2 Feral pigeon at CP. Green Woodpecker 2 Mistle Thrush Song Thrush at start of Tip area. ♂ Shelduck River Pool hide.
East Marsh. Up to 9 Lapwing chicks represent best number in several years. Best of luck to them! Cuckoo heard calling distantly.

Well known GS Woodpecker and Whitethroat nest sites still showing lots of feeding activity, with both parents very busy on both sites.

|Sun 5:30am to 7:30am. Cold bright morning. Got my target bird Garden Warbler, but on a warbler front added: Blackcap. Willow Warbler. Whitethroat. Chiffchaff. Cettis Warbler. Sedge & Reed warbler.
However, visit HIGHLIGHT was Kingfisher (literally Bird in the hand thanks to Pro Ringers Jim& Walter) One of life's memorable moments. Cheers!

|1 x wigeon , 7 x oystercatchers , 6 x tufted duck , 2 x mute swans , 4 x gadwall , 1 x little ringed plover , 3 x ringed plover , 8 x common terns , 1 x sandpiper , 1 x grey heron . 1 x g s woodpecker , 1 x dunnock . 10 x sand martins , 2 x house martins , plenty of swifts and swallows , 6 x greylag geese , 6 x lesser blacked back gulls , 4 x black headed gulls .

Only 1 sand martin spotted on east marsh pool although plenty of swallows around the reserve and swifts along entrance road
