Heard: Green Woodpecker, Chiffchaff, Cetti's Warbler, Reed Warbler, Cuckoo, Jackdaw.

|Sat 6.00am: Weather Forecasters again demonstrated their fallibility as I was welcomed to the Marsh by rain. It proved brief however and I was soon treated to Cuckoo (dead tree)Ring Plover Little Ring Plover Redshanks.The Ruff (still). Whitethroats, Willow Warblers Chiffchaff, Reed Warbler Sedge Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat (still between New Hare Covert and the sheepfield). Finally, Song Thrush heralded the Blustery day and my exit from the reserve.|
