PAUL NORMAN on Thursday, 26 April 2007
Raptor day today!
The morning started with a Tawny Owl, Sparrowhawk and Buzzards. At 1pm an Ospry flew over East Marsh Pool and was mobbed by a Buzzard - and then by a Red Kite. The Osprey flew around for 20 minutes hovering over the pool - but didn't dive for fish. It then flew off - and our disappointment was tempered by the sighting of 2 Hobbies flying together.
All in all quite a good day!
