A lot of the hides were inaccessible due to flooding nevertheless their were still some good viewing points to be had.

Sunday 25th
Bearded Tit called briefly from the end of EM track, reedbed just
to the right, also Bittern flew from the same reedbed onto
Newlands, before flying back to reedbed next to EM hide ~ 1.30pm. Two
or three Cetti's Warbler were on Newlands.

Saturday 24th- no sign of Bittern between 14:00 and dusk, but 2 Woodcock, 2 Cetti's Warbler heard, c150 Fieldfare roosting, c1000 Woodpigeon roosting and C40 Shovelers
