Cuckoo and Hobby festival continues with decent views of 3 of each around Ted Jury, Carlton and Newlands.

Baldwin Hide Oyc was very fidgety on the nest today - possibly hatching chicks...

Whinchat on Top Reedbed near entrance gate 10.45 this morning. Also Hobby (2, Ted Jury), Cuckoo (2 seen, one in flight behind Ted Jury, 1 nr River Pool hide), Kingfisher (Steetley), 12+ Buzzards all soaring at once (from Teal Pool Hide, 11.30)
