Not a lot of excitement today, with most pools frozen over! 46 bird species between 0800 / 1445.

As you would imagine all pools frozen! Todays Notable's :- Meadow Pipit (4),Tree Creeper (1), Nuthatch (2), Reed Bunting (5), Barn Owl (1 on Sheepfield & 1 on Carlton), Water Rail (3 seen).
Tip/Farm Pool Area - Woodcock (1), Red Legged Partridge (1), Yellowhammer (1 - rare to reserve!)
Plus 2 seperate flocks of Golden Plover over reserve @ 10am & noon, total circa 60) Last visit before Xmas so Merry Xmas to ALL.
