|Wed March 22nd. 2-4.00pm Weather Cool, bit windy, cloudy, previously heavy rain. Bird song everywhere, Spring has Sprung. Lots of species today, too many to list. But kicking off. Redwing. Song Thrush. Bullfinch in several places. Nuthatch. Goldcrest. Chiffchaff's Calling. Cettis. Both Woodpeckers. Kestrel. Stock Doves. Coot making nest. EMP. Goldeneye. Pr GC Grebes 'Dancing' + one other. Lots of Shoveler. Yellow Legged Gull. Pr Redshank. Pr Snipe. And a small wader I couldn't see clearly possibly Little Ringed Plover but its head markings and beak were not obvious so a bit strange, smaller than the Snipe.
