Thurs Feb 16th. 2.00 -4.00pm. Weather- Cool. Grey Bit Windy and later heavy rain. Birds of note all on EMP. Yellow Legged Gull. 2 Oystercatchers. 30 Coot. 12 Pochard. 3 Goldeneye inc 2 ♂s. 2 Shelduck. 2 Gadwall. 30 Tufted Duck. 8 Shoveler. ♀ Goosander. 7 Cormorant. and lots of mixed gulls.

Late report from Saturday - Goldeneye, Goosander, Water Rail, Common Snipe, Lapwing & Herring, Common, Lesser Black backed, Greater Black backed and black headed gulls. Definite signs of spring with several blue tits examining one of the nest boxes and about 7 drake teal circling and displaying to a ♀.
